Wonderful animals roaming free,
Around the bushes, the grass and the tree.
Majestic cats, walking mighty,
Amidst all creatures of god almighty.
And all other beings, oh so lovely,
Wondering how long, they can live so wildly.
After all we humans, have made it so tough,
Making their living, oh so rough.
They need our help, they need our care,
All we need to do, is to be more fair.
So come on get wild,
So what if you are a child…
Just join Hoopla, with all the action,
So we can make ours, a nature-friendly nation.
So tickle your brain and have loads of fun,
And make her proud too, we mean your mum.
And join the contests and win those prizes,
And there is in store, lots of surprises…
Hey Kids,
YES..... HOOPLA GOES WILD!
Yes, that’s right –wild! Wondering how? To begin with, when you think of ‘wild’, what comes to your mind? Wild jungles with exotic flora and fauna? The deep silence? The mystery of the lovely elusive creatures? Well, it’s a mixture of all of these, right? And you must be aware that wildlife – that includes not just animals but the greenery in the forest, the native tribes, the people who protect the forests etc – is a rich part of our natural world without which our own life would be affected. This is because all that constitutes wildlife also constitutes our own biosystem. And if wildlife gets affected, then our biosystem also gets affected – with not enough wild animals, the rest of the food chain also gets affected
But today with the rising pollution, deforestation due to human greed and other factors, wildlife is at risk and thereby affecting our own life. Besides what would nature be, without all those beautiful majestic creatures, isn’t it? So Hoopla now gives you, the young citizens of this country a chance to utilize your ideas and imagination to do something for wildlife. Starting this month, Hoopla will focus on wildlife as its theme not only for the magazine but also for the activities and competitions in your school -- from wildlife based articles and contests in the magazine and art and craft activities involving wildlife to your own campaigns to save the wildlife and other exciting things! Look out for them!
And in keeping with this theme, as a first step, Hoopla Club has adopted 4 animals in the Bannerghatta National Park, namely
The Hornbill
The Star Tortoise
The Gharial
The Indian cobra.
So, is you want to be part of this initiative and want to know how to adopt your own animal, call us for details and we'll be happy to help you!
