Sensitization

As part of the overall development of a child, Hoopla Club believes in the importance of the role of sensitivity in a child. Sensitivity
• towards the lesser privileged,
• towards the challenged,
• towards the elders,
• towards animals,
• towards the immediate environment.

As part of this, members are regularly taken on visits to old age homes, institutions for special children, orphanages, animal shelters, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centres.

Braille version:

We pride ourselves to be one of the very few children's magazines to offer a Braille version in partnership with the National Association for the Blind, Karnataka chapter. We are even more proud of the fact that we receive contributions from special children in Braille which get published every month.
Suraksha Bandhan: Bonding the Young with the Elderly is a programme to help member students pay their special tribute to the senior citizens. The elders are invited to school and students pay a special tribute by singing the Suraksha Bandhan anthem, reading out the Suraksha Bandhan pledge and tying the special Suraksha Bandhan band on the hands of their elders.
